Wisconsin LB Christian Alliegro to enter the transfer portal
Another Wisconsin linebacker will enter the transfer portal.

The emergence of the freshman linebacking duo of Mason Posa and Cooper Catalano is a bright spot for the Wisconsin football program that just missed a bowl game for the second-straight season. With that, however, comes a ripple effect.
A little over a week ago, Tackett Curtis, who started the season as one of the Badgers’ starting linebackers, announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal when it opens on January 2nd, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
Now, his running mate from the start of the season, Christian Alliegro, will be joining him in the portal.
Like Curtis, Alliegro lost his starting spot at inside linebacker. The junior linebacker broke his arms, forcing him to miss a few games. While he got some snaps when he came back, he was never able to reclaim the starting spot over either of the talented freshmen.
In three seasons with the Badgers, Alliegro tallied 124 tackles and eight sacks.
He is the 11th player from the Wisconsin football team to enter the portal.
