The past two weeks have been a whirlwind for the Wisconsin football program, but in the best way possible. In the first two weeks of official visits for prospects of the 2027 recruiting class, the Badgers hosted many of their top targets, and things couldn’t have gone much better.

In all, the Badgers have added nine new commitments over the past two weekends, pushing the 2027 class to 22 committed players. Here’s how the first weeks panned out and how things look after the dust has settled.

In the first weekend, the Badgers hosted all 13 of their committed players, giving the staff some extra help recruiting, and it paid off handsomely. The Badgers came away from the first weekend with four new commitments.

Four-star receiver Jai Jones kicked things off, announcing his commitment to the Badgers before the weekend even finished. Jones’ pledge gave Wisconsin its first receiver in an already impressive class.
