If you like offense, it is a good time to be a Wisconsin basketball fan.

The Badgers are at the Kohl Center this afternoon, riding a five-game winning streak and playing their most explosive basketball of the season. Following a 96-87 win over Rutgers and a stunning 98-71 road demolition of Penn State on Thursday, the Badgers (14-5, 6-2 Big Ten) are looking to stay hot against the USC Trojans (14-5, 3-5 Big Ten).

With a “White Out” crowd expected and the offense firing on all cylinders, the energy in Madison should be at a fever pitch. Here is your full preview for today’s showdown.

The “90-Point Club”: A Historic Offensive Stretch

For the first time in recent memory, Wisconsin has scored 90+ points in back-to-back Big Ten games. The Badgers aren’t just winning; they are overwhelming opponents with pace and efficiency.

The catalyst during this stretch has been the backcourt play of Nick Boyd and John Blackwell. After dropping 32 points against Rutgers, Boyd played the facilitator role perfectly against Penn State, while Blackwell and Braeden Carrington combined for 34 points.

The stat to watch today: 3-Point Shooting.

In their win over Penn State, Wisconsin drained 15 threes. When the ball is moving inside-out through Nolan Winter, this offense looks nearly unguardable.
