After seeing Simmons go 1 for 12,so far, I changed my mind. Put Carter Smith in. I am tempted tp put him in now but probably best to get him a week of reps with the 1s

Seems like a good idea, but he could play in a couple of games and retain his redshirt, too.
We have absolutely nothing to lose. And those ahead of him haven’t exactly locked down the position. Let the kid play
