One week from today, some of the top targets in the 2027 recruiting class for the Wisconsin football team will arrive in Madison for their official visits. The Wisconsin coaching staff is pulling out all the stops to show these recruits exactly what the program and the city have to offer.

Among the 16 prospects in town will be 4-star tight end, Korz Loken. Loken was the trailblazer of the ’27 class, committing to the Badgers back in January. His pledge was the start of something spectacular for the program, effectively sparking an avalanche of highly touted in-state recruits deciding to stay home.

As it stands, a week out from the first official weekend, the 2027 class has 13 commits, nine of which are from Wisconsin.

I caught up with Korz to get his thoughts on the upcoming official visit weekend to get a take on what he is looking forward to. He has the opportunity to take in all the fun things that come with official visits, but it isn’t all for fun; he’s on the job, too.

Like many others who will be in town, Loken will also be on a business trip, recruiting the uncommitted visitors to join him at Wisconsin.
