Examining which Wisconsin football players could enter the transfer portal

Which players could be on their way out of the Wisconsin football program now that their season is over?

With the ugly 17-7 loss to the Minnesota Gophers, the Wisconsin football season is officially over. With that comes the unofficial start of the transfer portal. Technically, the transfer portal is only open from Jan. 2-16, replacing the December and April portals that we’ve seen in the past.

But that won’t stop players from ‘planning’ to enter the portal.

There are already rumblings of players who could be on their way to the portal, although nothing has been announced.

I took a look at the roster and tried to pick out some names of players that we could potentially see enter the portal in the upcoming days or weeks, along with my rationale.
